As part of the KPMG National Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist provides support in the areas of content marketing, internal and external communications, digital marketing, webcasting, market research, email marketing list coordination, CRM management, client-facing events and other market-positioning activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, tactical marketer who is comfortable executing in a matrixed environment and interested in building toward broader marketing capabilities. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Foundational Industries Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to carry out an integrated marketing plan designed to meet the goals of multiple industry portfolios.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate the national rollout of external campaigns and programs, following established marketing processes while actively identifying opportunities to simplify and improve execution

  • Proactively maintain a focus on marketing projects, and identify and provide recommendations for improved efficiencies

  • Assist in the production of marketing collateral, webcasts, email campaigns, web content and social media campaigns with in-house creative and digital marketing teams

  • Support specific events, including event management logistics, critical path development, invitation development and distribution, registration management, list management/creation, distribution of follow-up reports and other related support as needed

  • Support marketing initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups, including industry leaders, account teams, and national marketing functions, ensuring alignment to approved processes, priorities, and timelines

  • Collaborate with in-house digital marketing team to maintain website, drive social media content and aspects of our marketing campaigns and programs

  • Create, develop and manage content for our internal portals

  • Research as well as coordinate and gather information necessary to develop presentations, fact sheets, and other marketing collateral, as required

  • Participate in initiatives to help advance collaboration across functions, industries, and regions to share and leverage best practices and enhance overall marketing efficiencies

What you bring to this role:

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in marketing in a national or global organization (B2B, agency, professional services and/or financial services experience preferred)
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business and/or communications
  • Strong digital and integrated marketing experience demonstrated in a professional environment
  • Must be a highly efficient, detail-oriented, quick learner and self-starter who is eager to develop professionally
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player and an active participant and contributor to marketing meetings
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Confident in providing support and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Superior project management skills; MUST be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong social and digital media acumen with deep experience in managing these aspects of campaigns
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, quality, and impact of marketing execution is strongly preferred

This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG. KPMG Ontario Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications.
