The Implementation Manager Outside Plant is accountable for managing capital projects relating to the implementation of Northwestel Fiber and Copper facilities based on an understanding of business needs and specific customer requirements. The manager determines the most cost-effective method for accomplishing project needs from general information, user requirements, planning input; resulting in the development of detailed engineering plans, estimates, budgets, specifications and schedules to evaluate and implement new systems and technologies.

This position requires a Bachelor of Engineering or a technician with a combination of experience in telecommunications or utility (outside plant) field activities such as construction manager, foreman, lineman, or cable splicer, will also be considered.
Professional Engineer designation would be considered an asset

In conjunction with those specifications, this position also requires that the incumbent possess very good organizational, analytical, communication (oral and written) skills and be computer literate with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Access)
