This position is at the L07 level with an hourly pay range of $38.37 - $48.55

Reporting to the Information Systems Lead, the Functional Information Systems Analyst is the front line contact for the MEDITECH registration process, providing support, system maintenance and subject matter expertise to internal clients. The position recommends, implements, and manages information systems and business solutions in order to improve the delivery of system wide registration processes and practices for YHC and its partners. This position is responsible for monitoring quality assurance for all registration activity for the entire organization.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Thorough knowledge of current MEDITECH registration applications and processes;
  • Knowledge of business processes, technologies and applications, and project management methods and techniques;
  • Strong knowledge of other HCIS applications relevant to YHC including but not limited to: coding and abstracting, PACS, transcription systems, etc.;
  • Good knowledge of multi-discipline, multi-site, and cross-departmental systems/applications and processes;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing, presentation skills. Strong communication skills, relational, and a strong influencing skill set;
  • Ability to provide registration support in a complex and highly integrated MEDITECH environment;
  • Ability to work effectively and interact with all levels of the organization including physicians, senior management, middle management, expert users, and frontline staff, as well as external vendors;
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and lead teams;
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, vendors, and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in teams to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to facilitate expert user training;
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex information and problem solve; and
  • Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.

The successful applicant is required to have a High School Diploma, completion of Medical Office Administration or Patient Registration Specialist Certificate with (3) years Registration experience preferably in a MEDITECH environment. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
