We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Information & Communication Technology team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Client Service Specialist, this role provides front-line support by troubleshooting minor IT issues and managing service requests from triage to resolution. Success in this role requires excellent client service, strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and attention to detail in repetitive tasks.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Experience in a client service role
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware or software
  • Experience working in a call-center environment is an asset
  • Post-secondary coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field is an asset


Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

  • Ability to evaluate and triage issues and respond quickly to maintain expectations
  • Ability to provide front-line client-focused IT support
  • Ability to manage conflicting, multiple and unpredictable demands and frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy in repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment to deliver services or solutions


Conditions of Employment

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:

  • class 5 driver's licence or equivalent
