The Role:
The Corporate Development Associate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing AMD's inorganic growth strategy. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities aligned with AMD's long-term strategic objectives. The role demands a strategic and analytical thinker with expertise in financial analysis and a passion for the technology industry.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-driven professional with exceptional financial modeling skills. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, possess strong communication and collaboration abilities, and stay ahead of industry trends and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support AMD's M&A strategy by performing financial analyses, including but not limited to valuation, accretion/dilution, contribution analysis, and IRR.
- Monitor and summarize financial research on industry peers and companies for senior leadership.
- Track and manage analytics and dashboards for M&A efforts, including post-deal processes.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and prioritize strategic gaps, evaluate build/buy/partner options, and recommend target selection criteria.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute deals and lead due diligence efforts.
Preferred Experience:
- Progressive experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or corporate development roles, with a focus on the technology sector.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A analysis, including deal structures and related considerations.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Highly driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about technology, with curiosity and a commitment to excellence.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
