Job Description: Liaises with families, physicians, staff nurses, and community agencies. Providing individual outpatient treatment and education for patients and families. Promoting continuing staff nurse involvement in patient education through effective communication, developing resource materials and providing in-service education. Participating in program administration (program development, planning, quality improvement and evaluation). Participating in research and evaluation projects.

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Enterostomal Therapy certificate
Other Education and Training
- Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Education Program (ETNEP)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies
- Basic - Computer skills
