The bigger picture

We're looking for an inquisitive and detail-oriented person to come on board as our Business Intelligence Analyst at our 2375 College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will work collaboratively to analyze data and develop business intelligence solutions that provide valuable insights to inform business decisions.

How you'll be spending your time

  • Creating, modifying, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using reporting services (e.g. data warehouse).
  • Investigating and understanding organizational needs, which includes determining business stakeholder requirements and priorities, defining key performance indicators (KPI), and supporting development of business intelligence and data warehouse strategy.
  • Resolving issues throughout the requirements gathering process; mediate between stakeholders to ensure effective facilitation and understanding of all needs.
  • Developing, testing, documenting, and analyzing business intelligence deliverables such as reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet the needs of end users and key stakeholder.
  • Supporting data governance issues in partnership with the data governance team.

The experience you bring

  • Relevant post-secondary education in computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative fields.
  • 5+ years of related experience in business analysis and/or data analysis and information management and reporting, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Proficient with SQL.
  • Working experience with one or more of the following: SQL Server, Power BI (desktop), Oracle, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy.
  • Experience in Python is an asset.

Salary Range:

$75,630 - $94,540 with 10% Short Term Incentive Target
