Job Description:
The Communicable Disease Control/Immunization Program Coordinator is accountable for planning, implementation and evaluation of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) and Immunization programs. The CDC/Immunization Program Coordinator's scope of practice requires a broad knowledge base and autonomous decision-making skills, with a specialized focus on implementation of provincial standards related to Communicable Disease Control and Immunization programs. The coordinator role provides program orientation, ongoing in servicing and support to staff in CDC and Immunization program standards. This position is also responsible for auditing program standards for staff adherence, as well as CDC reporting required by the Ministry.
