Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion Salary: Based on experience. Job category: Industrial Management Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 40 hours/week.

Tasks

  • Verify daily inspection records of the quality team and production employees.
  • Organize internal audits (SQF certification, occupational health and safety audit, etc.).
  • Plan and manage external audits (SQF certification, CNESST, client audit, etc.) and respond to auditors.
  • Address non-conformities and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Implement corrective actions and perform necessary follow-ups.
  • Maintain the quality system, including verifying forms and plant inspections.
  • Maintain and update training programs and schedules.
  • Supervise the application of 6S methods, total quality management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in maintaining the SQF system, including verifying forms and attending SQF committee meetings.
  • Perform any other tasks related to quality excellence.

Job requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in quality management and assurance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, specifically in the plastics industry.
  • Knowledge of standards: Good mastery of GMP, SQF, and HACCP processes and standards.
  • Computer skills: Intermediate level with MS Office suite.
  • Technical skills: Ability in configuring, reading, and interpreting measuring instruments.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
