The New Product Development Center of Expertise (NPD CoE) team have the mission to drive performance, innovation and quality in the way we develop products at BRP. As part of the team, you will lead the design and support of the product management capabilities. This role will leverage your versatility by having you mastering product configuration processes and tools, define requirements for internal soflwares and build strong communications to the teams involved to name a few examples. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Take ownership of the delivery of projects related to the transformation of processes, data, and tools in product management and strategy; bring the vision to life!
  • Collaborate with several internal teams to understand their operational needs, pain-points and requirements;
  • Design the internal "product": solutions that will address those challenging needs & requirements;
  • Lead the deployment activities by providing clear communication on process flow & product functionality, respond to customer inquiries and train teams;
  • Be the reference and use domain knowledge to identify opportunities through both operational projects and long term strategic vision;
  • Track and communicate on project plan and objectives - keep everything moving forward, identify risks and provide clear communications on projects to stakeholders;
  • Support the creation of the transformation development roadmap, maintain priorities in the backlog;
  • Champion standards and educate product management team members on those standards.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or data science;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management;
  • Bilingualism required, both written and spoken (English/French); ability to communicate in English and French with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis;
  • Willing to dive deep when needed, move rapidly with a bias for action, and get things done;
  • Passion for technology, and business opportunities that it presents, with the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions;
  • Customer first mentality - desire to deliver the best possible user experience to customers;
  • Passionate problem solver, designing and building the best solutions for the most meaningful problems;
  • Able to see around corners for future products, so that we build at a platform, rather than project level;
  • Good understanding of technology systems and software development processes a plus;
  • Communicates effectively by expressing ideas clearly and concisely;
