Reporting to the cybersecurity operations team leader, the cybersecurity analyst is primarily responsible for operational cybersecurity activities. As an expert in IT security, you will advise users, supervise activities related to your area of responsibility, and liaise with other sections of the department.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Participate in the automation and integration of various systems, metrics and alerts to provide a single point of reference.
  • Mentor analysts and technicians in the technical application of IT security best practices.
  • Act as a technical reference in the field of cyberdefence, disseminating and transmitting knowledge while keeping abreast of advances and trends in your field of activity and products.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security guidelines and frameworks.
  • Manage or participate in the implementation of cloud-based products or solutions that have an impact on cyberdefence technology activities.
  • Ensure the development, update and parameterization of applications, systems, programs and IT equipment under your control, in compliance with departmental standards and methodologies.
  • Define, formalize, update or improve cybersecurity-related processes and procedures. Take charge of changes, problems and improvements affecting IT security.
  • Develop and analyze solutions for the development and improvement of IT security throughout the organization.
  • Take charge of cyberdefence incidents at a technical and human level in accordance with established standards.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Automation: Python, Django, REST API
  • Security manufacturer: Microsoft ecosystem (Sentinel, Defender, Entra)
  • Privilege management: Cyberark (CPC, EPM)
  • Miscellaneous: ServiceNow, Crowdstrike Falcon, Keeper Security, Checkpoint Avanan, Sailpoint Identity, VMware NSX
