As Software Quality Engineer, you main responsabilities will be :
Responsible to prepare and implement the Vehicle Software Quality Assurance Plan on the project and prepare the Software Quality Assurance Report.
Support the reporting on a regular basis activity regarding the process conformity and software technical documentation progress.
Support the Project Configuration with tracking status of supplier software
Perform audit planning and audit execution for internal and external suppliers according to the applicable standard(s), follow-up of corrective and preventative actions until closure.
Support software certification activity on the project
Support the System Engineers by defining software quality requirements in the Supplier Requirement Definition in the start-up phase of the project.
Documentation acceptance of any new software baseline for vehicle service
If required, to be the interface for customer on software quality
To document the return of experience for each phase of the project
The role may require some travel to internal and external interfaces
Mandatory:
Overall understanding of software engineering life cycle models, tools, and techniques.
Proficiency in problem solving and other quality methods and tools
Team player
Customer orientation
Desirable:
Familiar with software configuration management techniques and tools.
Auditor certification and experience is desired
Business acumen
Able to interpret software quality assurance and software safety standards and models as defined by ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 90003, EN 50128, EN 50657, IEEE 1558 with associated IEEE standards, CMMI, IRIS.
Use of tools like MSOffice, SharePoint, Project Tracking Databases
