Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for AI and technology? We're seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join our team and help shape and drive TELUS' AI journey. This is a fast-paced, high-impact and visibility role for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and will work alongside brilliant minds and teams to develop and execute a data and AI strategy that drives unparalleled value for our customers.


As a senior member of the team, you will play a key part in developing and driving data and AI maturity across TELUS. Using your passion for technology, communications and creativity, you will drive the awareness of multiple transformation efforts and promote the vision and behaviors to accelerate our transformation, translating technical lingo and complex ideas into engaging, easy to understand content decision makers. You will work across the organization to drive adoption of analytics and AI solutions for tangible business outcomes and AI maturity. What you will do

  • Support the acceleration of data and AI strategy across the enterprise to enable the organization in meeting its strategic and financial objectives
  • Devise a plan across all business units to proactively drive adoption of responsible AI and analytics, fostering AI maturity with measurable improvements and change management
  • Conceptualize and implement robust processes to streamline AI demand with delivery teams in an efficient and effective manner
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of technology, data science and AI landscape with the ability to drive points of views, strategic thinking and impact
  • Evaluate AI capabilities from a product centric lens for re-usability and scalability by connecting the dots among initiatives across products and business units
  • Lead storytelling in executive leadership forums with presentations, articles and communications to provide visibility and drive decision making
  • Lead annual strategy exercise and business planning with senior leaders including material creation (business cases, executive presentations) and coordination across teams and units

  • Flexibility, accountability and openness to feedback with the ability to pivot rapidly

Great-to-haves

  • University degree in Business, Information Technology Management or Engineering; Masters degree desirable
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Management Consulting or strategy with a large organization
  • 3-5 years of experience working in Technology with senior leadership
  • Experience in developing and implementing data and AI strategies is highly desired
  • Experience defining and implementing new operating models, change management and standing up transformation efforts

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.
