We're looking for our next colleague who's eager to learn the role of a SCADA integrator within our Process Control and Operational Technology team. BBA supports several clients in the North American renewable energy sector. Your role will involve helping integrate renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar and energy storage) into corporate SCADA systems and developing and maintaining client relationships.

Overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Implement configuration and programming changes to our clients corporate SCADA systems.
  • Design the architecture of data collection systems.
  • Solve technical problems at source.
  • Ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Communicate effectively about changes and train our clients' technical staff.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project transfer from the Construction group to the Operations group.
  • Perform commissioning activities.

Overview of job requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
  • Mobility (25% to 50% of time spent away from the office)
  • At least three years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to draft technical documents
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written

Assets

  • Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems
  • Experience with OSIsoft's PI System historian
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and routing
