We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented senior SharePoint administrator to join our dynamic IT team at BRP. This role is responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of the organization's SharePoint environment. This role involves the oversight of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the system's availability, reliability, and performance.

The senior SharePoint administrator will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide solutions to improve business processes through SharePoint.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Manage the SharePoint environment, including site configuration, user permissions, and system updates.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Customize SharePoint sites and pages to meet the specific needs of different departments.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues and answering questions related to SharePoint functionality.
  • Ensure that the SharePoint environment complies with the organization's security policies and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Lead SharePoint-related projects, from planning and design to implementation and post-deployment support.
  • Document project requirements, processes, and outcomes.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with a strong understanding of SharePoint Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience with SharePoint development, including custom web parts, site templates, and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, features, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required because of our globally located workforce and daily interface with employees in countries that BRP operates in.
  • Experience with Office 365 and related applications.
