About the role

Join Partner Solutions (PSI) Network Operations & Security team as an Senior IT Architect - Network & Network security

How you will contribute to our success:

  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for Network Infrastructure to meet the organisation's needs and business goals
  • Lead the enhancement of the organisation's network security posture by implementing industry best practices to prevent incidents.
  • Define and provide recommendations for the most appropriate solutions for the organisation's operational needs
  • Develop scalable network and network security architecture designs aligned with the industry's norms and standards as well as the organisation's needs
  • Develop network infrastructure standards, policies and procedures within the organisation.
  • Contributes to the organisation's strategic planning and roadmaps by providing cost -benefit analysis on solutions and by keeping up to date with new trends and technologies.
  • In collaboration with involved parties, lead network performance analysis and provide recommendations to improve reliability, speed and security for the organisation and its clients (multi-client environment).
  • Lead the enhancement of the organisation's network security posture by implementing industry best practices to prevent incidents.
  • Support operational teams resolve network related issues such as, but not limited to availability, performance and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in information technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 5-year experience as a Network specialist developing/recommending solution for an organisation
  • Minimum 5-year experience in leading Network Infrastructure projects as part of an organisation's Security Program
  • Ability to bring high level concepts into actionable steps for the operational team
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on the organisation's needs
  • Capacity to communicate highly technical concepts to different audiences
  • Capacity to work with different teams from various department
  • Ability to act as a mentor to facilitate knowledge transfer and support the team's growth
  • Motivated by challenges and an ever-changing environment!
  • Recognized certification such as PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP is strongly prefered
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
