The location in Montréal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Administrator, Network Security. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview:

Reporting to the Network Delivery Manager, you will be part of a team undertaking projects/deployments of network and security technologies. As Senior Administrator, Network Security, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include implementing and supporting advanced firewall solutions and identifying opportunities for improvements.

Your challenges:
• Install, configure, secure and maintain the security infrastructure;
• Implement and troubleshoot network security solutions;
• Anticipate, mitigate and resolve network security issues;
• Use security tools to perform monitoring and analysis of security events to detect security risks and threats;
• Review and implement requests for firewall ports, VPN and secure vendor access;
• Conduct and execute security infrastructure assessments and upgrades;
• Staying abreast of current threats, vulnerabilities and best practices;
• Review and evaluate new information technology developments in the field of network security.

Your profile:
• Bilingual French and English
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network security administration and support;
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience;
• Strong experience in deploying and supporting the following :

  1. Next generation firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco);
  2. VPN firewalls for Lan-to-Lan and Remote Client VPN connectivity;
  3. Secure vendor remote access (BeyondTrust);
  4. Fortinet products FortiAuthenticator, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer
  5. Palo Alto products Panorama and Global Protect VPN
  6. Cisco ISE and Firewall Management Center (FMC)

• Strong working knowledge of network protocols and managing access control policies;
• Experience with network segmentation and/or security zones for applicable data protection according to data classification;
• Experience with IPS, SSL certificates, SSL Decryption and Web Filtering/Proxy;
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing and LAN/WAN technologies;
• Experience with Zero Trust Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SAS.
• Solid understanding of SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, DLP;
• Security certifications are an asset (i.e. Fortinet NSE4 or higher, Palo Alto PCNSE, CISSP, Security+, GSEC);
