About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Product Owner!

What you'll do here:

  • Work closely with the development team (IT Business Analysts, Developers, Testers), as a stakeholder representative and is responsible for providing product roadmaps by prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Ensure liaison and communication between stakeholders and teams.
  • Keep communication open with team members to ensure they can meet the deadlines we have committed to and able to provide up-to-date status updates.
  • Prioritize work for the team with the help of the Scrum Master.
  • Coordinate and communicate with product owners on other teams.
  • Participate in tribal ceremonies and team ceremonies.
  • Design the vision and roadmaps.
  • Create the cards in Jira.
  • Define acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Approve completed stories.
  • Assist managers with dependencies between teams to remove barriers.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or any combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methodology.
  • Comfortable with Jira, Teams, and Confluence tools.
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO) is an asset.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and facilitate workshops.
  • Ability to lead a team and facilitate daily scrums and prioritization workshops.
  • Very good understanding of the technical aspects of design and development.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but authorization to work in Canada required.
