The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our dynamic team at Valnet. In this role you will be responsible for managing project prioritization, proposing new features, and ensuring that our development efforts align with the overall goals of the company. You will collaborate with almost every department, acting as a liaison between our tech team and the people who manage our talented contributors. This is an in-office, full-time position based in our Montreal headquarters.

What you will be doing:

• Be responsible for the evolution of our first-party tech products.
• Leading the ‘business needs’ aspect of projects and collaborating with our development team to design, develop, and test solutions.
• Informing management of changes in timelines, emerging blockers, and applying critical thinking to provide recommendations to solve any issues.
• Collecting and organizing feedback and requests from our users and executives.
• Prioritizing the above and stacking our pipelines with valuable projects and tasks that align with company goals and objectives.
• Communicating and coordinating the integration of deployments into the various teams.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external providers that our technologies depend on.

What you need to succeed:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience in user feedback and product optimization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ambitious, fast learning, data-driven individual with a proven track record of success.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
