Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

• You will lead a team of high-performing team members, with the mandate of advancing our collective team's understanding of the wireless business through:
  • Enhancing datasets to ensure team has access to critical performance data
  • Creating self-serve tools that will allow stakeholders to access datasets on an ongoing basis to support decision making
  • Partnering with marketing, finance, and sales teams across the organization to support critical deep dive analysis
  • Build foundational data assets enabling teams across the organization
• As the team lead, you will also be responsible for the growth and development of your team members including upskilling on various levels (processes, technical, and interpersonal skills)

Here's how

• You will develop new analytical solutions to provide timely insights to the business
• You will work on various systems in the value chain that includes but not limited to Billing Systems and CRM. Further you will also work on other foundational data assets that give a bird's eye view of various systems and processes in the organization
• You will collaborate with cross functional teams: TELUS Business Marketing team members, Sales & Sales enablement, Finance, TELUS Consumer marketing, and other BI teams to develop foundational data assets that will drive business improvement
• You will coordinate with the product management team to ensure reporting readiness for new product launches
• You will be part of a high performing team, celebrate wins, socialize learnings and progress to our leadership team

Qualifications

• You are inherently curious to understand how things work, have ability to think outside- of-the-box and work around constraints
• You are an experienced leader, with a track record of developing high-performing and engaged team members
• You focus on continuous learning and development across multiple domains including telco industry, technology, and customer experience
• You are an expert at Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and Oracle and / or SQL server databases with more than 7 years of hands on experience
• You have expert level proficiency in SAS, SSIS, and python with at least 7 of hands on experience
• You possess strong planning, performance and business analysis skills

Great to haves

• Prior telecommunications or B2B marketing experience
• University degree in Engineering or Commerce and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Working knowledge on Google cloud platform (GCP) and BigQuery
