About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Manager, Infrastructure Security!

In partnership with the Corporate Security team, the Infrastructure Security Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing security best practices and workload prioritization to secure the infrastructure and systems that run Intact Financial Corporation's (IFC) key processes and services.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coach a team of security specialists who support the various projects and operations delivered by the IT teams.
  • Contribute to the improvement of IFC's cybersecurity posture.
  • Lead the hybrid cloud infrastructure security transformation and support the various infrastructure teams.
  • Foster secure-by-design and secure-by-construction practices.
  • Identify and assist the infrastructure teams in implementing innovative and effective security controls.
  • Measure the effectiveness of the implemented security controls and identify all impacts.
  • Support the various security technical testing initiatives and facilitate the prioritization of required remediations.
  • Prepare insightful reports and present to the required stakeholder groups: senior management, infrastructure teams, etc.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with the stakeholders supporting the various security programs (Managers, Directors, VPs, CISO, CIO).
  • Partner with the Corporate Security team and ensure that the IT Security policies and standards are successfully implemented.
  • Remain up to date on cybersecurity industry, threats, trends, solutions and services to enable the protection against the evolving threat landscape.
  • Work closely with internal teams to detect, understand and mitigate immediate risks.

What you need:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in information security and cyber security.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Security, a related field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Recognized certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH or other).
  • Advanced knowledge of security capabilities, controls and standards: MFA, DAST, SAST, DLP, WAF, Bot Manager, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, etc.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, hybrid cloud environments and cloud security.
  • Experience with budget and business operations management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
