About the role
Join Partner Solutions (PSI) Network Operations & Security team as an IT Technical Advisor Senior - Network Operations.
How you will contribute to our success:
Monitor and implement network improvements to maintain efficiency and performance, reduce incidents and meet the organisation's needs.
Support the development of scalable network architecture designs aligned with the industry's norms and standards as well as the organisation's needs
Proactively detect any network related issues and provide expertise to solve complex problems such as, but not limited to availability, performance and security.
Work with third-party vendors, service providers and clients to follow up on on-going cases
Document and maintain SOPs related to policies and procedures
Coordinate and implement updates of network software and hardware equipment
Collaborate in the enhancement of the organisation's network security posture by implementing industry best practices to prevent incidents.
Provide recommendations and support in network-related initiatives.
Requirements
Master's degree in information technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields.
5-8 years' experience as a Senior Network Advisor
Recognized certification such as PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH is an asset
In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing, switching and network devices
Great knowledge of Network security concepts
Excellent team player, capacity to work with different internal and external teams
Ability to problem-solve complex network-related issues
Ability to work with different operating systems
Capacity to communicate highly technical concepts to different audiences
Client oriented
Capacity to work with different internal and external teams
Motivated by challenges and an ever-changing environment
Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
