You are:
The Content Designer will work in a cross-functional agile team to create UX copy for a social services transformation. They will serve as an integral part of the Content Design Team, working among a team of Content Designers and supporting product design efforts to meet the objectives of this transformation. They will follow brand voice and tone guidelines to deliver concise, consistent, and cohesive content accessible to all Canadians.
The work:
Work in a cross-functional agile scrum team, delivering UX copy for product features in two-week sprints
Develop user-centric copy for a digital platform that addresses the needs, concerns, and challenges of the end user
Write with inclusivity and accessibility in mind, ensuring content resonates with all Canadians
Support product design efforts in the area of content design and UX copywriting
Ensure user and customer content is consistent, clear, and cohesive, following business terminology guidelines as well as voice and tone standards
Work alongside research and design team, following the established standards for the content design craft
Focus on re-use and delivery accelerators to ensure product designs are delivered on schedule
Identify risks and pain points as they arise
Work autonomously and meet deadlines associated with sprint schedules, as well as come together with team members to collaborate, brainstorm, and share perspectives
Here's what you need:
3+ years experience in content with proven ability to craft concise, user-friendly copy
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to use content strategy, personas, and user research to inform copywriting decisions
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
