The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Architect, Data Transformation. This job is full-time permanent.


With the formation of our newly created Digital & Data Transformation organization we aim to leverage cutting-edge digital technologies and data-driven insights to transform our business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive sustainable growth. We aim to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement, ensuring that our data and digital assets are secure, accessible, and utilized to their fullest potential.

As an experienced Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementation strategy of scalable data architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and our organizations data strategy. You'll work closely with organizational leaders to understand their data needs and develop strategies and solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and innovation through technology while ensuring quality, integrity and security.

Your challenges:

  • In collaboration with organization and business leaders, you are responsible for the development and execution of our enterprise data strategy technical roadmap. Develop and architect data platforms and solutions ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the organization's data assets while aligning to the overall Strategic Data and IT roadmaps. Research and evaluate emerging data technologies for potential adoption..

  • Design and implement effective data solutions and models to access, store and retrieve company data. Develop and maintain logical, conceptual, and physical data models to support enterprise data architectures. In collaboration with the Integration team and Technical BI Lead, design effective data integrations from various sources into a cohesive architecture while improving the ETL process that supports data access, reporting, advanced analytics, and digital capabilities.

  • Contribute to the creation and enforcement of data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into effective data solutions aligned with strategic goals.

  • Mentor team members, address knowledge gaps, foster a culture of innovation and excellence, and inspire teams to adopt data-driven approaches to achieve business objectives.

Your skills:

  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing data strategies that drive business growth and align with organizational goals, with experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, integration, security, governance, analytics, and visualization to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Skilled in designing adaptable data models using best practices in normalization to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with evolving business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and implement innovative technologies, driving digital transformation and leading change in corporate and manufacturing settings.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Customer-focused mindset, committed to delivering outstanding experiences by understanding and meeting customer needs through digital solutions.

Your profile:

  • Bilingual French and English.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles with a heavy manufacturing context.

  • Proven leadership experience in driving successful digital and data initiatives.
