Department Manager - Telecommunications and Operational Infrastructures

Do you want to be part of the digital transformation for the industrial sector? We're looking for a leader to serve as Department Manager - Telecommunication and Operational Infrastructures, to help achieve BBA's strategic objectives. You'll be responsible for managing the department's human, financial and material resources and overseeing the progress of activities to achieve BBA's business plan and meet set operational efficiency targets.

You'll have the opportunity to develop these multiple aspects:

• Coordinate consulting and engineering services for network architecture, IT/OT solutions development, IT/OT infrastructure, server rooms and operations rooms.
  
• Develop department members' technical skills (training, work methods, etc.) and actively participate in recruiting and hiring of qualified personnel to achieve BBA's strategic objectives.
  
• Develop client relationships and prepare competitive proposals.
  
• Actively participate in projects in your field of expertise as a technical contributor or project manager.
  
• Monitor and assess employees under your supervision.
  
• Work with the internal teams to increase department efficiency and quality and ensure a structured approach to project delivery.

Overview of job requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications or operational system architecture
  
• Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with a specialization in telecommunications and networking OR any combination of education and experience relevant to the position
  
• Knowledge of best practices in IT/OT infrastructure design as well as cybersecurity standards and best practices
  
• Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
