What are your contributions to the team?

  • Manage the development team.
  • Own the product backlog.
  • Coordinate with Product Manager to plan product releases.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and answer any questions about product stories, features, epics, and other product aspects (listed on Jira Board).
  • Work closely with scrum team to identify goals, clarify user stories, prioritize stories, and groom the backlog.
  • Lead and participate in scrum ceremonies (refinement, demo, and retrospectives).
  • Monitor and understand scrum team velocity to track delivery of features and plan for sprints.
  • Identify and solve any non-technical roadblocks for the scrum team during their sprint.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog according to the roadmap.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of what is done.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager to translate business vision into user stories.
  • Assign stories to development team members.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are proficient with JIRA, CONFLUENCE, etc..
  • You have good leadership and collaboration skills.
  • You have strong decision-making skills.
  • You possess knowledge in user experience.
  • You possess knowledge of Agile software development.
  • You have great communication skills and are bilingual (English and French).
