NOW HIRING: Administrative Assistant

LOCATION: KMI Media & Design, Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

HOURS: Full time, permanent. 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

WAGES: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.

Initially focused on supporting Centennial Auto Group with online presence and safety measures, KMI quickly grew to serve over 500 clients across various industries. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including website development, graphic design, IT support, vehicle wraps, commercial signage, and consulting, to help businesses establish and expand their brand in today's competitive market.


We seek an energetic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to be the face and voice of our dynamic team. As our valued clients' first point of contact, you will create a welcoming and professional environment. Your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging, giving you a unique opportunity to learn and grow within our fast-paced company.


APPLICABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
  • Experience with the Square POS system is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Divi themes is an asset.
  • Passion for design and creativity is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and a drive to succeed.


MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relations: Greet customers with a warm smile and provide exceptional service, whether in person, over the phone, or online.
  • Sales Support: Generate estimates, convert them into invoices, and manage client accounts accurately and efficiently.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate closely with our Director of Operations to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Marketing & Communications: Craft engaging weekly or monthly newsletters, participate in strategic meetings to develop promotional offers, and manage communication channels such as phone, chat, text, and email.
  • Inventory Management: Place orders for materials, maintain accurate inventory records in Square, and contribute to optimizing our inventory management system.
  • Administrative Support: As needed, assist with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, contract preparation, and record keeping.
