Lead Field Service Technician - Building Automation


As a Lead Field Service Technician - Building Automation here at Honeywell, you will provide technical guidance and support. Your expertise will drive the success of our field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our Windsor, Ontario location. As the Lead Field Service Technician, your technical expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction will have a direct impact on the success of our field service operations, the satisfaction of our customers, and the growth of the organization. You will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' buildings by providing exceptional technical support and service for our Building Automation solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commissioning controls systems
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing commercial automation systems at assigned customer sites
  • Performing corrective and preventative maintenance tasks at assigned customer sites
  • Coordinating with other trades and engineering
  • Participating in customer management and sales support activities
  • Covering for on-call after hours on a rotational basis to respond to customer emergencies on as needed basis

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in field service in building automation BAS HVAC
  • Post secondary education in a technical field
  • Valid driver's license

  • Knowledge of Security and Fire Control systems, Mechanical system operation and building automation
  • Team-oriented individual with demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and self-directed

  • Knowledge of server-based systems on various operating systems
  • Network configuration knowledge
