Position Title: Web Content Writer
Reports To: Director, Corporate Marketing

Term: Temporary Full-Time, Six (6) Month Contract
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

We are seeking a passionate, professional and highly skilled content writer to play a pivotal role on the project team crafting compelling copy that resonates with Canadians. We think of our public website like our front door, where we welcome future clients, employees and partners looking to learn more about us. This is a unique opportunity to help deliver our content strategy and redefine how we communicate our brand on our website in a clear and effective way.
Insurance can be complex, but it doesn't have to be! As a Web Content Writer, you will craft engaging content that takes complex information and presents it in a clear, simple way that demonstrates how easy it is to do business with Equitable. Your role will involve developing content that takes into consideration page type and target audience and aligns with our brand voice.
You excel at transforming information and complex ideas into clear copy that resonate and connects people with our brand. Collaborating closely with product and marketing specialists, designers and technical writers you will develop content that incorporates feedback while maintaining consistency and adhering to writing guidelines across our website.
This role will engage stakeholders across all lines of business, corporate services and investments - the entire organization - to bring together a cohesive content strategy that is easily digestible.
