Your Impact

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with Cloud-focused project and program management experience to lead multiple high-impact initiatives. As a TPM, you will drive cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery while balancing scope, timeline, and risks. Your role is pivotal in shaping the evolution of OpenText's Cloud platforms and applications—a highly visible and strategic area within our organization.

You will work closely with teams across Engineering, Product Management, Cloud Operations, Professional Services, and Customer Support, aligning priorities and ensuring seamless execution.

What the role offers

As a Technical Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project work plans, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Drive program governance, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring executive visibility.
  • Act as single point of contact for program execution, providing timely updates & risk mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation in project execution and best practices.
  • Identify and remove impediments to project success while maintaining focus on delivering value.
  • Possess 5-8 years of experience in software development, IT, or cloud-based project management, with 5+ years specifically in program or project management roles.

What you need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • PMP certification is essential for this role, demonstrating your commitment to project/program management.
  • Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP or CSM are desirable
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, including experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar frameworks.
  • Proven track record of managing mid-to-large-scale technical programs, particularly in Cloud/SaaS environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to drive alignment between technical and business teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present program status to VP-level and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience working across global, cross-functional teams in multiple time zones.
