WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Leading technical projects from requirements analysis through to design, implementation and deployment
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Interacting with Product Management, Development Management, and one's team in order to organize the team's priorities and achieve its goals
  • Developing new features, and maintaining existing features
  • Developing and re-factoring code for high performance, scalability and security
  • Participating in the design and implementation of applications spanning multiple components and processes
  • Providing assistance to other developers and Quality Assurance analysts
  • Providing assistance to Customer Support and Documentation as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience as a software developer, with varied/extensive knowledge of computer science concepts, including
    • developing and debugging software on various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
    • web technologies, specifically (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS)
    • SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, HANA)
    • RESTful APIs
    • Object Oriented development. (C++, Java, etc.)
    • multi-lingual support (Unicode)
    • scalable system design
    • source code control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.)
  • Experience in mentoring other staff
  • Great communication skills
  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent experience
