YOUR IMPACT

The Release Management team has a unique opportunity for a functional Release Management Analyst to join the team. We are seeking motivated individuals to set up and release OpenText products, whether developed and sold by OpenText or through approved partners. This position requires extensive coordination with various teams to ensure products are set up correctly in our systems and the changes and releases are implemented smoothly. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, R&D Managers, and Product Operations to share crucial product details, such as license technology configuration requirements, timelines, documentation, and special needs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless release of our products, directly impacting our success and customer satisfaction.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Support the software setup related to engineering programs through day-to-day follow-up on project/program road maps.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and day-to-day functions of programs and related projects take place as required.
  • Coordinate with product marketing, project management, product operations, and IT for the setup of single or multiple products.
  • Establish processes consistent with overall organization objectives and maintain process documentation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of medium to high complexity as well as understand business and customer impact.
  • Keep leaders informed of critical milestones and decisions; ensures work is reviewed upon completion.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage issues related to releases.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 3-5 years of experience with managing software product releases and supply chain setup.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of license technology configuration preferred.
  • Familiarity with document publication tools (Adobe Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver) as well as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Proficient project management skills in planning, execution, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), leadership and influence skills.
