Position Title: Co-op Student - Project Management & Enterprise Architecture
Reports To: Head of Technology - Enterprise Platforms and Architecture
Department:
IT Enterprise Architecture
Term: Temporary Full-Time, Four (4) Month Contract or Eight (8) Month Contract (Preferred)
Work Term: May 5, 2025 - August 22, 2025 or December 19, 2025 (Preferred)



Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every two weeks, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

What you will be doing:

Enterprise Architecture

  • Support Enterprise Architecture governance processes (tracking actions and organizing digital resources).
  • Support the creation of Enterprise standards for cloud, DevOps, API and Security and other enterprise level standards.
  • Contribute to the technology evaluation processes, for example, supporting Proof of Concept activities.
  • Support Enterprise Architecture leadership and our strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and update records for our digital assets.
  • Schedule and maintain our technology review calendars.


Project Management

  • Support routine and small initiatives by building schedules, understanding action items, following up with resources.
  • Work alongside Senior Project Managers to provide administrative support.
  • Take meeting minutes, record action items and track to completion.



What you will bring:

  • Currently undertaking a degree or diploma in a Computer Sciences program and/or related industry experience.
  • Self starter, able to learn independently and have the confidence to ask lots of questions.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to communicate effectively.
