YOUR IMPACT
The SBC/VOIP Admin will be responsible for the design and implementation, as well as the ongoing management and maintenance of the global VOIP services and associated network components such as SBCs (Session Border Controllers). This includes adhering to project timelines, milestones, governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization and planning, resourcing, and tools management.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Responsible for managing different aspects of TDM to SIP migration.
• Responsible for configuring Cisco switches
• Responsible for implementing carrier interconnects, including MPLS and DIA with static and dynamic IP routing protocols
• Manage documentation and support of VOIP infrastructure components
• Work with support vendors to implement or troubleshoot systems, including SIP, RTP, IP, UDP, QOS
• Experience with LINUX OS administration
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor's degree and entry-level project management experience preferred and/or additional relevant experience. Fields of Information Systems, Telecom, or related field desired.
• Cisco CCNA is a big plus.
• Experience with VoIP, networking, and telecom systems, including troubleshooting
• Able to track and manage multiple concurrent projects and related tasks at different project phases and coordinate the tasks across multiple internal teams.
• Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and ability to learn technologies and their applications quickly
