Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting data collection, inventory management, and process improvements across facility operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate production records.
Key Responsibilities
• Support data collection efforts in all areas of the facility, Cultivation, Extraction, Inventory and collaborate with other data collection teams.
• Keeping excel workbooks up-to-date
• Maintains databases and uses it for tracking and trending activities.
• Identifies recurring deviations and ensures appropriate actions are taken.
• Highly involved in inventory management and the upkeep of records
• Develop and implement new procedural efficiencies in operational departments, including existing SOPs and document improvements
• Update weekly production spreadsheets including products being harvested and or bulk packaged, samples going for testing, update treatment spreadsheet
• Where applicable, must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada's Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to all ISO requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
• Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements
• Other duties as required
Requirement
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented
• Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and collaborate on projects Knowledge of cannabis production and culture, especially focused on best-practices production methodology
• Undergraduate degree, and 2-3 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in a quality or production role
