Responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing deployments and releases into pre-production and production environments within the Digital Operations portfolio. This role involves coordinating with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure that all aspects of a release are completed on time and meet quality standards. Key duties include scheduling release activities, tracking progress, communicating updates to stakeholders, resolving issues that could impact the release, and ensuring that all approvals and documentation are in place. In addition, the right candidate will maintain release schedule, enforce best practices, and improve release processes for efficient and reliable deployments.

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Coordinator to join our Digital SRE Environment and Release team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, reliability, and delivery, ensuring the smooth execution of technical projects that directly impact our digital infrastructure and release processes.

What will you do?

  • Lead and coordinate software release activities with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and automation.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, SRE, and operations teams to align release requirements and schedules.
  • Track release progress, proactively manage risks, and resolve issues that could impact reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and communicate release schedules, status updates, and any changes to stakeholders with a focus on SRE principles.
  • Continuously improve release processes by integrating SRE best practices, such as monitoring, automation, and incident response.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proven experience in project management or coordination within a technical environment, preferably in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or infrastructure teams.
  • Strong understanding of release management processes, incident management, and system reliability best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure, development, support, and business teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem solving and process improvement.
  • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g. Jira or similar) and a familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SRE principles, such as monitoring, incident response, and reducing toil.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines release orchestration tools, and deployment automation.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience applying frameworks such as Scrum and ITIL in technical environments.
