What is the opportunity?
We are looking for talented, highly motivated, and passionate team players to join our Portfolio Management development team to help realize our RBC Wealth Management Canada business vision. You will be directly involved in the planning, design, and delivery of functional enhancements and/or modernization efforts to meet business and technology objectives. You will be working collaboratively with members of your own team as well as across various departments to achieve desired outcomes, and to align to enterprise strategy.
What will you do?
Contribute to planning, estimation, and design of new features and integrations, in collaboration with Architecture and other team members to deliver complex changes.
Develop high quality software which is maintainable and supportable.
Communicate and present to senior leaders.
Advance development practices, maturity and recommend improvements.
Remain current with technology, trends, techniques, and promote your expertise with other team members.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
3+ years leading large and complex technical changes.
5+ years of working experience with MongoDB, SQL Server or Oracle, Java Springboot, Core Java 11+, and Angular.
Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs and RESTFul APIs.
Experience designing and implementing micro-services.
Nice-to-have:
Working experience with ETL tools (Datastage preferred)
Experience in people management or people oversight.
Investment Portfolio Management domain knowledge.
