QuadReal is seeking a Solution Architect with a customer-obsessed, delivery mindset who will be responsible for helping achieve optimal outcomes from technology and design decisions. This role will have a fantastic opportunity to work closely with implementation teams, data management team and third-party vendors to architect strategically aligned, value driven business initiatives.

This includes architecting and designing modern solutions using your experience with API-driven development, embedded AI, SaaS platforms, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), and other modern cloud technologies. The Solution Architect will have a good understanding of the current cloud landscape, modern architecture patterns and direction the industry is headed, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create future-state designs.

The successful candidate will support the Director, Enterprise Architecture to enhance QuadReal's innovation culture including AI usage. He / she will help with innovation pilot projects and assist with bringing business stakeholder concepts towards value realization.

The successful candidate will roll up his / her sleeves to engage with stakeholders, understand needs and opportunities, design and review solutions, create frameworks and templates, and review peer deliverables.

The role reports to the Director, Enterprise Architecture and is suited to a motivated self- starter with a "can do" attitude who is curious, takes a high degree of personal ownership and demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills with adaptability in a dynamic environment. It is a role well suited to an outcome-oriented individual who keeps business objectives in mind when designing solutions.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture
• Deliver a variety of architecture services with high quality to stakeholders, including future-state architecture designs, product assessments, technical summaries and roadmaps.
• Perform technical analysis of vendor offerings and convey assessment to stakeholders in business terms with risks, impacts and mitigating strategies.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with various stakeholder groups across the business and IT functions.
• Excel in explaining complex technical concepts to business stakeholders who may not have a technical background, ensuring clarity and understanding across all levels of the organization.
• Create clear and engaging visual representations of architectures and solutions using tools like Visio, Whimsical, or similar.
• Consistently explore the current technology landscape and modern architectures, especially in application, data/integration and security.
• Ensure architecture impacts, risks and dependencies are identified and communicated, and governance processes are followed (e.g. Architecture Review Board).

Innovation
• Pursue professional development opportunities to maintain knowledge of prevalent and emerging technologies.
• Participate in innovation initiatives, supporting idea generation and helping to transform concepts into practical solutions, especially in areas involving AI and emerging technologies.
• Work collaboratively with external partnerships that may support or accelerate QuadReal's innovation efforts.

Education and Qualifications:


• 3+ years of Architecture and Innovation experience in a modern, secure, and highly integrated cloud-based solutions environment.
• Understanding of design and integration practices in Cloud / XaaS-intensive environments
• Exposure to industries such as Real Estate, Finance, or IoT is a plus but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas effectively through storytelling and engaging presentations tailored to various audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple stakeholder expectations, contribute to a team of experienced technical specialists in a dynamic, time-sensitive, and fluid environment.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, high-trust relationships with key stakeholders including business leaders, colleagues in IT, and partners.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
