The Senior Product Analyst will be responsible for providing business support for Private Wealth applications systems domain, such as client portals: BMO Nesbitt Burns Gateway, Private Banking Investment Online system (BPBIO), other Internal Branch systems, such as Broadridge Smart Advisor, Retail Investment System (RIS), Trade Supervision tool - Global Relay, Global Plus (GP), etc.). The position will manage the day-to-day business support and maintenance, including participation as an Subject Matter Expert in the strategic enhancements to the domain.

The role has accountabilities for documenting operating procedures, systems administration, coordination of change intake, critical incident escalations, testing and change management. In this capacity, the Senior Analyst is required to liaise with the frontline, Technology, vendors, and other internal departments and LOBs.

Business Solution

  • General Support: Perform day to day support of the applications including troubleshooting issues and recommending solution to the business operational aspects of the domain through liaising with internal and external support partners. Prioritize requests and channel them to the appropriate supports partners.
  • Incident Management: Coordinate the end to end incident resolution life cycle including tracking and communicating with internal stakeholders at regular intervals
  • Procedures and Policies: Develop and maintain support procedures including process flow and decision points across the domain.

Technology Execution

  • Plan and execute on small-medium sized enhancements to the domain including management of priority, scope, time, cost and quality
  • Participate and consult on changes, projects and initiatives (new products, regulatory changes, system implementations, etc.),
  • Support system upgrades, test case creation and testing (UAT).
  • Co-ordinate the intake process with the Technology and Operations teams including vendors to ensure the change requests are tracked and implemented on time, budget and quality.
  • Monitoring of QA and execute on UAT activities
  • Align release schedule as per business priority
  • Ensure business readiness prior to change implementation
  • Manage communication to stakeholders
  • Continuously recommend and deliver improvements and solutions.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvement to functions, processes and practices across the domain.
  • Identify inefficient and redundant tasks for automation and elimination respectively.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must Have Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience providing business support for client-facing applications.
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain collaborative, courteous working relationships with others.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Access
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • User Acceptance testing experience.
  • University degree or college diploma.
  • Nice to Have Skills:
  • Project Management or Software development experience or certification.
  • Knowledge of discretionary, full-service investing, financial services industry and fintech.
  • Change Management experience.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
