Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Virtual Agents, and Power Pages, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying automated solutions to streamline processes and boost productivity across our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and implement custom applications using Power Apps (Model-driven and Canvas Apps).

  • Automate business processes using Power Automate.

  • Utilize Power Platform CLI for DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into functional low-code solutions.

  • Maintain consistent and positive interactions with staff while delivering timely solutions.

  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the overall business objectives.

  • Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure quality and performance.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting support for IT-managed solutions.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all stages of application development, from design to deployment.

  • Provide expertise and recommendations for solutions developed by third-party vendors.

  • Provide training and support to maker community and help grow the Power Platform practice within the company.

  • Define and enforce Power Platform development standards, governance policies, and best practices.

  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge and bring that knowledge back to our maker community.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Dataverse, Model-driven Power Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate.

  • Integrating Power Platform applications with third-party solutions and platforms via APIs.

  • Experience and knowledge of working with Power Apps Component Framework.

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JSON, REST, Power Fx, JavaScript, PowerShell, .Net, Python, or C#.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

  • Experience in administration and deployment of Power Platform CoE toolkit.

  • Familiar with relational databases and SQL.

  • Familiarity with ALM practices for Power Platform, including source control and solution management.

  • PowerBI skills are an asset.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience developing Power Platform solutions.

  • Proven experience as a Programmer or Software Developer, with a strong understanding of software development principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement, with a passion for technology and innovation.

  • Experience with stakeholder management and business analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).

  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Dynamics 365, Azure, and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
