What is the opportunity?
- Day to day L1 operation control of the network and Security infrastructure for City National Bank and RBC Capital Markets.
- All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy principles.
- Utilize scripting for automation efforts to reduce the amount of toil work performed daily.
- 24X7 support in a rotating shift schedule
What will you do?
- Incident support of the CNB network security appliances and execution of changes for the following technologies will be the primary focus of this role:
- Manage firewalls from various vendors (Palo Alto/Prisma, Cisco ASA)
- Manage Mcafee Web Gateways for enterprise surfing.
- Manage Cisco Anyconnect gateways for remote access.
- Imperva Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Secondary responsibilities will include incident management and change management of the Cisco Routing and Switching environment, Silver Peak SDWAN, F5 Load Balancers, Infoblox DNS and Cisco Meraki Wireless deployments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Strong Knowledge of Security concepts
- Strong understanding of the TCP protocol
- Strong Wireshak Analysis capabilities
- Understanding of Routing and Switching
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and the drive to learn
Nice to Have
- CCNA or CCNP certification
- PNCSA or higher
- CCSA or higher
- ITIL v3 or Higher
