What is the opportunity?

Support design and implementation of capacity architecture with a solution design that will enable modelling that is responsive to the complexity and inter-connectivity of Regional Banking people ecosystems (~15,000 FTE) and roles (28+) as well as broader connectivity and harmonization across P&CB including Advice Centre and Operations. Synthesize and evolve data enablement to harness existing data and unlock new data steams for more dynamic optimization of the right work to the right people across our network of 1300+ branches.

What will you do?

Partner with capacity planners, role design, physical networks, distribution strategy, distribution analytics and the broader P&CB data community to:

  • Harness the existing data ecosystem driving consistency and flexibility to support next generation capacity models to predict and optimize capacity for maximum balance of productivity, sales power and client satisfaction
  • Navigate within our systems and data, and solve creatively outside where required, to connect our employees to our clients in effective and expedient ways to support Distribution Transformation
  • Research and advise on emerging technologies for adoption by capacity analytics team, and assist with deployment and usage adoption
  • Enable automation for repeatable models & governance to support both the regions in execution and the executive leadership team in decisions
  • Explore capacity modeling requirements and identify opportunities to deploy pre-designed or customized models for enhanced decision support

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Deep curiosity to research and ask questions, and confidence to challenge the status-quo
  • A knack for problem solving, and insatiable curiosity
  • History of simplifying the complicated and aligning technical work to business impact & outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally in complex organizations
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering and industry leading data technologies, especially SQL and Python
  • Experience in working with large dataset and query optimization
  • Experience in data mining and statistical modelling
  • Ability to effectively communicate and write technical documentation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure data to be flexibly transformed into actionable business insights
  • Working knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI...)

Nice to have:

  • Broad familiarity with most domains of Computer Science (systems, network, programming, hardware, ...)
  • Workforce Planning and Capacity Analytics Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in relevant discipline, or extensive comparable industry experience
