Responsible for the development and implementation of the project's planning and construction strategies, across the corridor
Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to identify and optimize construction sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to ensure effective planning and staging of construction activities
Coordinate with various teams to develop construction schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures
Planning of engineering trains, access and possessions, reduce possession related cost due to engineering trains, Increase efficiency of engineering access
Attend planning meetings ensuring effect planning is done to reduce safety, maximise performance of engineering possessions
Chair Integration and Deconfliction and Readiness meetings for engineering possessions
Monitor and update the project's planning and staging activities based on changing requirements and constraints
Develop and maintain the project Master schedule to meet the project objectives
Manage the progress measurement and earned value, schedule reporting, schedule change implementation, and develop and maintain the schedule management plan
Responsible for the delivery of project planning and progress measurement, ensuring that project procedures and best practices are applied
Develop the schedule management plan and develop the schedule structure, coding, and hierarchy
Formulate and maintain the basis of the schedule for each baseline schedule
Create the baseline curves including progress and manpower. Generate all progress curves including planned, actual, and forecast
Participate in project schedule risk analysis and include subsequent contingencies in the baseline
Generate and verify monthly updates and issue progress reports
Maintain and optimize the schedule through change management procedures monitor progress and resolve areas of potential concern
Review and assess schedule impacts due to changes and claims
Manage schedule changes and forecast project impacts
Execute corrective action when performance trends deviate from the baseline
Complete any tasks assigned by the assigned manager or higher in an efficient and timely manner

Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 9 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in construction planning and staging for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Licenses OR Certifications:
Holding recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP
Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource management
Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methods
Detailed experience in Claims Management or Forensic Delay Analysis
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Primavera P6
Working knowledge of Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI and TILOS
Expert understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
Readiness to continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
