Occupational Health & Wellbeing department is seeking a knowledgeable SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a temporary 18-month term!
As the SAP SME, Occupational Health & Employee Wellbeing, you will be a key contributor to the SAP Time and Attendance Project that is underway. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving TTC's Time and Attendance processes related to employee medical absences and pay. This important position will lead business process changes, collaborate with business users to implement best practices, and ensure the SAP system supports TTC policies. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including Business Process Owners, the SAP Project Management Office (PMO) team, Subject Matter Experts, and Super Users.
Specifically, the responsibilities include providing guidance to HR Occupational Health & Employee Wellbeing, acting as the business process owner, and liaising with TTC stakeholders. The role involves identifying and reducing risks, supporting SAP system implementation, and managing business process changes. Additionally, it includes developing decision documents, analyzing and documenting business processes, and ensuring smooth transitions during implementation.
Key responsibilities include contributing to functional design specifications, supporting system design and implementation, documenting process gaps, and determining impacts of business process changes. The role involves building knowledge during implementation, identifying and escalating issues, conducting workshops and presentations, and working closely with various teams to test and implement solutions. Additionally, it supports change impact identification, ensures smooth transitions, and executes tasks as directed by the Project Manager or Project Sponsor.
The position also requires collaboration with various teams, conducting workshops, identifying critical success factors, and developing KPIs to track performance.
