What is the opportunity?
The Reporting and Compliance Specialist - Disaster Recovery is an integral member of the T&O Disaster Readiness team, working to align CNB and RBC disaster recovery reporting. The incumbent will work as a City National Bank employee, integrating with RBC over the next 2 years. Meanwhile, regular reports must be prepared for senior management and risk management teams. We are looking for a self-starter who can learn and question, engage, and contribute to improving processes and help us evolve.
What will you do?
Produce weekly and quarterly disaster recovery compliance reports
Collaborate between CNB and RBC DR teams to ensure alignment in report preparation
Monitor and identify gaps and inconsistencies so that they can be remediated
Guide alignment in reporting activities by identifying and recommending best practices
Learn how to upload data from Excel to ServiceNow as a workaround pending automation
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
Min 2 years experience working in the financial industry or another heavily regulated industry
Min 1 year experience independently producing clear, accurate, detailed reports
Expert experience using Microsoft Excel
Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Nice to Have:
Experience in Disaster Recovery concepts and principles
Experience using Tableau
Experience using ServiceNow
