What is the opportunity?

The Reporting and Compliance Specialist - Disaster Recovery is an integral member of the T&O Disaster Readiness team, working to align CNB and RBC disaster recovery reporting. The incumbent will work as a City National Bank employee, integrating with RBC over the next 2 years. Meanwhile, regular reports must be prepared for senior management and risk management teams. We are looking for a self-starter who can learn and question, engage, and contribute to improving processes and help us evolve.

What will you do?

  • Produce weekly and quarterly disaster recovery compliance reports

  • Collaborate between CNB and RBC DR teams to ensure alignment in report preparation

  • Monitor and identify gaps and inconsistencies so that they can be remediated

  • Guide alignment in reporting activities by identifying and recommending best practices

  • Learn how to upload data from Excel to ServiceNow as a workaround pending automation

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • Min 2 years experience working in the financial industry or another heavily regulated industry

  • Min 1 year experience independently producing clear, accurate, detailed reports

  • Expert experience using Microsoft Excel

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Disaster Recovery concepts and principles

  • Experience using Tableau

  • Experience using ServiceNow
