Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with the programs QMS and industry standards/regulations
Collaborate with stakeholders and other third parties, for quality planning and defining objectives and requirements for different project phases
Oversee construction quality activities such as audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations
Monitor construction quality measures and evaluate project deliverables, materials, and workmanship
Provide training programs to enhance quality awareness and competency among project personnel
Manage the identified non-conformities by the IDPT team, and ensure the contractor is implementing corrective actions
Provide quality reporting to evaluate the performance of the contractor
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and risk management to ensure the project's success
Conduct internal audits on the IDPT
Any additional duties, as deemed necessary to support the deliverables and key activities
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in the engineering and construction sector
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Licenses OR Certifications:
Holding recognized certification in area of specialty
Certified QMS 2015 Auditor or have experience in a similar quality management representative role for a transit project of a similar scope to this Project and have successfully completed an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course
Skills and Competencies:
Development, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System in large and complex Infrastructure Projects conforming to ISO 9001 Standard or equivalent
Experience in overseeing implementation of Quality program based on ISO 9001:2015 structuring
Experience with conducting Internal and External Audits based on ISO 9001:2015 Standard Requirements
Experience with NCR Management and verify implementation of the corrective action
Dynamic leadership and employee engagement skills
Demonstrates leadership and core competencies at a high level of development and is an exemplary model of living the corporate Values and Code of Ethics
Provides senior leadership Quality Metrics for Key Performance Indicators
Provides senior leadership to management leads that are dedicated to each of the functional teams, as required
Experience with construction quality oversight in a live railway operating environment and a busy and congested urban environment
A firm understanding of Engineering and Construction procedures, principles, and concepts. Experience of this understanding in the context of rail project is desirable
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
