What is the Opportunity?

RBC is seeking a Senior QE Integration, E2E Testing Lead to join our Core and Real-time Payments team. You will be responsible for leading the E2E testing through planning, coordinating and executing for big projects/programs with different project teams internally and externally. You will work collaboratively with product and business partners to define, develop and deliver the E2E Test Strategy with a focus on delivery. You will be accountable for driving quality and champion defect prevention/early defect detection and providing timely status reports to stakeholders for blockers, risks and mitigation plans.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in developing Integration/E2E testing strategies, executing E2E test cases and reporting to senior management for complex programs or projects.

  • Ability to showcase the experience working in a large program as a E2E test lead with multiple integrations, applications and technical environment, test data dependencies for E2E testing.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).

  • Knowledge of various test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Robot Framework, Karate, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG) and development languages (e.g. Java, Python, etc.)

  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Devops Tools such as Jenkins, GIT Hub Actions and UCD etc

  • Database technologies (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, SQL, IMS) and strong SQL experience.

  • A motivated individual to work in dynamic program environment with aptitude towards planning, proactive callouts, and risk mitigations

  • Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills and out of the box thinking coming up with creative solutions on testing approach in critical timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills and effective negotiation skills.

  • Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience

Nice-to-have

  • Banking/Finance industry experience

  • Software Quality Certification
