We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in credit cards or alternative payment methods to join our growing team. As a Product Manager within the Payment Services team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our payment solutions. You will be responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing our product offerings related to payments (cards, alternative payment methods), risk management monitoring, and integrations with third-party payment processors. Your expertise will drive the development and enhancement of our payment platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency, security, and user experience.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Product Vision and Strategy:
    • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for payment products, aligning with the company's strategic goals and market demands.
    • Define product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Card Payments Expertise:
    • Oversee the development and optimization of card payment solutions, ensuring they are robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand card payment trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and address potential risks associated with monitoring payment transactions, including fraud detection, chargeback management, and regulatory compliance.
    • Work with risk management teams to develop and implement strategies that minimize financial and operational risks
  • Third-Party Integrations:
    • Manage integrations with third-party payment processors and financial institutions, ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity.
    • Partake in the selection process of payment processors and partners, ensuring their compatibility with our systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Engage with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, customer support, and sales to deliver high-quality products and features.
    • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Product Development and Enhancement:
    • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications for new features and improvements.
    • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and implement iterative improvements to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
    • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for product enhancements and strategy adjustments.


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in the payments industry, with a strong focus on card payments and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of payment processing systems, card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and payment industry standards (PCI-DSS, EMV).
  • Experience with third-party payment processors and integration technologies (APIs, SDKs, Plugins, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Able to effectively communicate (verbally and non-verbally) by generating an action, informing, creating understanding and consensus, or communicating a certain idea/point.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, contribute to a positive work environment, and manage multiple assignments with competing priorities successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Market research: Ability to conduct research to identify trends in the payment processing industry, consumer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product development.
  • Customer-centric approach: Ability to put customers first by designing products that solve their problems and meet their needs.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze information and data to make informative product decisions and track key performance indicators to measure the success of a product.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire team members, and manage timelines and budgets.

This is an onsite position and the successful candidate will be required to report to the office Mon-Fri from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
