CBI Home Health is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead and execute strategic communication initiatives, focusing on both internal and external audiences. This role involves managing medium to large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring communication strategies align with business objectives. The Manager will oversee content creation across various channels—such as events, print collateral, social media, and digital content—while maintaining brand consistency. By maintaining brand integrity and working closely with business leads, the Manager will help drive engagement, improve staff satisfaction, and increase the impact of communication efforts. This role requires leadership skills, experience in marketing and communications, and a passion for driving meaningful impact.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Identify effective strategies and tactics that will assist operators in meeting communications goals and objectives.
  • Manage scope, planning and execution of communications strategies and/or projects, working collaboratively with other team members, departments, and vendors.
  • Accountable for content creation for assigned areas and development of applicable communications pieces related to strategies and project work (e.g., events, print collateral, website content, social content, white papers, promotional materials, recruitment materials, corporate videos).
  • When possible, ensure items are created on a national scale to help streamline and create efficiencies, consistent messaging and branding across the network (includes developing self-serve items, templates etc.)
  • Ensures content is distributed to the target audience at the right time by leveraging the appropriate and available comms channels.
  • Collaborates proactively with internal stakeholders to ensure the company's message (internal/external), programs and service communications are aligned with business objectives.
  • Sources and manage external stakeholder relationships: creative, print, and promotional vendors, digital vendors and media outlets as required.
  • Collaborates with external stakeholders such as funder Communications representatives to co-design aligned messaging and visual content, when required.

What you need to be successful

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing and communications
  • Proven track record of conceptual and strategic thinking, sound tactical implementation and effective project and team management
  • Experience working in the health care sector or related industry
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Current knowledge and experience with digital marketing strategies and tools, website management and social media content development
  • Experience with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Word and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of best practices in User Experience design
  • Experience with branding and brand development considered an asset
  • Media relations and/or crisis management experience preferred
