We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Consultant to join BrokerLink and work out of our Toronto- 700 University branch, On a 12-Month contract.

What the Role Entails:

• Using your exemplary writing and editing skills to create and review compelling communications for multiple platforms, including: the intranet, print material, brokerlink.ca and more.
• Creating captivating communications for internal and external initiatives, advertising copy, special projects and assignments.
• Assessing your project needs, then developing and implementing the marketing and communication strategies and plans, to manage the execution and measure success.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to develop strong relationships with internal business partners and colleagues at all levels.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Excellent editing, writing and in-person communication skills are a must for this role.
• An ability to create effective, compelling content that is tailored to specific audiences.
• Post-secondary education related to marketing, communications or public relations programs.
• 3+ years of work experience within a corporate marketing and communications department, an agency or a journalism environment.
• Video experience is a tremendous asset.
• Experience creating strategic communications plans and designing content strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• Experience creating editorial calendars and adapting stories across various platforms.
• High-level proficiency using presentation software applications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver creative and strategic work on time.
• Understanding of market research, brand, marketing campaign structure.
• A good sense of humour is welcome and encouraged.
• Insurance industry experience is a definite plus.
